SBS4 Mutational Profile Analysis
Genomics / WGS/WES / COSMIC mutation profile

This figure compares the mutational profile of samples with the COSMIC reference signature SBS4. The x-axis represents 96 trinucleotide mutation contexts categorized by six base substitution types (C>A, C>G, C>T, T>A, T>C, T>G), and the y-axis indicates the relative contribution of each context as a percentage of total single base substitutions.
The bottom row shows the reference COSMIC signature SBS4, which is associated with tobacco smoking-induced mutations. The upper rows represent three NGeneS samples. Similarities in mutation patterns between NGeneS samples and SBS4 suggest potential involvement of similar mutational processes. The analysis was performed using single nucleotide variant data from WGS/WES, and mutation context assignment followed the COSMIC convention.
